Biography

Raised in the countryside, Élizabeth Bienvenue remained in constant search of this freedom that she knew she could find in her artistic bubble. The need to express herself came naturally to her through singing and drawing, which was for a long time her preferred medium. She has, however, explored all sorts of other forms of expression, whether it be theater, photography, writing or calligraphy.

 

Wanting to find an acceptable field of work, she put her art on the back burner for a while, but always remained drawn to this need to create. It was finally during her maternity leave, in 2018, that she allowed herself an art course in painting. It was during her 2nd maternity leave, in 2020-21, that she discovered a deep passion and a refuge where she found the nostalgic peace of her childhood. Inspired by other artists who make a living from their art, she finally saw, for the first time, that it was possible to make a living from her art and she took the plunge.

Life continues with her family and her work, she prioritizes introspection and growth in the desire to improve herself. ​We can recognize it by the deep and dramatic choice of colors in her works, mixed with the constant search for balance and peace explained by the softness.

 

It is with her hands placed on her work in prayer to her creator that Élizabeth Bienvenue begins each of her creations. She hopes to bring a breath of fresh air, peace and light through her creations and allow people to fall in love with the grandiose beauty of nature.

 

With acrylic paint, she draws inspiration from reference photos or nature itself to create a world or tell a story. It is by combining singing that she lets herself glide into her creativity and her imagination.
